Join us for this Iowa and American history program! Iowa native, storyteller, and historian Darrin Crow will highlight Iowa's role in the Underground Railroad, including the brave Iowans who were a part of it, the risks, and long-term effects of this historic and impactful passage. This set of stories focuses on the small town of Salem in southern Iowa and its heroic citizens who helped hundreds of enslaved people find their way to freedom.
