Lake Manawa State Park Walk

Join us for a 5K or 10K walk through Lake Manawa State Park, a scenic 1,529-acre park centered around a beautiful 753-acre natural lake—named after the Native American term for "peace and comfort." Both routes follow fully paved roads and bike paths, taking you through nature trails and past an accessible playground, a swimming beach, and the park concession area. The 10K route extends along the eastern shore to feature views of lakefront homes and the Missouri River. Registration fee for adults is $4. Children under 12 walk for free. The standard $5 vehicle permit fee for out-of-state vehicles is waived while participating in this event. Leashed dogs are welcome. Start anytime between 9 AM and 11 AM, finish by 1 PM There will be a group walk at 9:30 AM for those who would like to walk with others.
