Murals and Music is a free event celebrating the four new murals along the First Ave Trail. This event will take place on Saturday, May 11, following the Celebrate CB Parade, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cochran Park. Murals and Music promises an afternoon filled with creativity and entertainment and provides our residents another way to 'Celebrate CB.' Eight local artists will be actively painting murals on temporary art cubes installed at Cochran Park. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness these artists in action, gain insight into their creative process, and engage with them as they bring their visions to life. Plus, live music with Andre Vander Velde and food trucks will be on-site with concessions available for purchase. Bring your chairs, blankets, and picnics, and enjoy an afternoon of murals and music!
