Join avid birder, Nic Salick, for a short indoor presentation and an evening hike where we'll look for Nightjars in the prime of their mating season. These are nocturnal, owl-like birds that don't build nests and have some funky behaviors. While we will try not to use flashlights or headlamps during the program, feel free to have one along to help you get back to the lodge when we conclude. Better yet, use a red light!
