One-on-One Basic Sewing Machine Skills
November 5 | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.Council Bluffs Public Library
UNfortunately, this event has already occurred.
Ready to start (or restart) your sewing journey? Book a one-on-one appointment to learn the basics of using a sewing machine—from setting it up to sewing straight lines! They'll cover machine parts and accessories, threading, installing the bobbin, and more. Bring your questions and get hands-on guidance, whether you’re a beginner or need a refresher.
Upon completion, you’ll be certified to check out the Janome Jem Gold Sewing Machine from the Makerspace. This program is for ages 14 and up.
If you have your own portable sewing machine, you’re welcome to bring it along with a compatible bobbin. (Your user manual may be helpful.) Once registered, please email [email protected] to let them know you’ll bring your machine.
