Iowa Western Community College, 89.7 The River, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) are hosting the Reiver Rally to Prevent Suicide – Campus Walk on May 1, 2022, from 2-4 pm. This is a family-friendly event. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for individuals 15 to 34 in the United States. Many in our community are impacted by suicide, and adolescents are personally experiencing rising levels of depression and anxiety. This campus walk is to show that no one has to struggle alone.
