UNfortunately, this event has already occurred.
Radio was more than just a device to get music and news. It was part of life. You may have never met them in person, but the dj's were your pals that sent you snuggling back under the covers when they told you school was closed, got you going in the morning, or were there those times when you just badly needed a friend. And the publicity stunts bordered on crazy! Monday, August 4, 6:30 pm at the Council Bluffs Public Library join Dick Warner, half of Sweet 98’s very first morning team, the Breakfast Flakes, for a look back at some fun moments from Metro radio of the 1960s-1990s. Sponsored by the Historical Society of Pottawattamie County and the Council Bluffs Public Library. There is no admission charge.
