Narrows River Park

4.3

Overview

Narrows River Park is a 36-acre county park located along the Missouri River, offering a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities in a scenic riverside setting. Popular activities include boating, fishing, hiking, archery, picnicking, and wildlife viewing, making the park a favorite destination for families, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

The park features a boat ramp, picnic shelters, restrooms, playground, and convenient access to the Missouri River, the longest river in North America. Visitors may also catch views of the historic Illinois Central Missouri River Bridge, also known as the East Omaha Swing Bridge, a rare railroad structure that was once the largest swing bridge in the world. Whether launching a boat, casting a line, or enjoying a relaxing afternoon outdoors, Narrows River Park provides a welcoming place to experience one of the region's most important natural resources.

A daily park entry fee is required. Visit Pottawattamie Conservation for current admission information, park updates, and additional details.
