We are so excited to announce our first UNleashCB Fall Photo Contest! #UNleashCBFallPhoto20
This is the perfect time of year to venture outside and explore the beauty that surrounds us! We want to celebrate the season with you so we've put together our first UNleashCB Fall Photo Contest! Enter up to two original photographs that depict the fall season in Council Bluffs or Pottawattamie County for a chance to win a GoPro HERO7 White! You don't have to be a pro or have high dollar equipment to participate. You'd be surprised by how great smartphone cameras are!
We will be accepting submissions from Tuesday, September 22, 2020, thru Sunday, November 8, 2020.
The winner of the GoPro HERO7 White will be announced on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 4:00 p.m.
All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants in Pottawattamie County. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
You must be over the age of 13 to participate in the UNleashCB Fall Photo Contest.
If your photo contains recognizable faces, a consent form is required to complete your submission. The form should be filled out by the subject in the photo. If you have multiple submissions, a form will be needed for each photo. Please fill out this form and email it to eschwaller@UNleashCB.com or mail it to the address indicated in the form before November 1, 2020.
The photo must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame. Simple editing and watermarks are ok.
Violators will be removed from the contest.
Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel. Entries not submitted through the proper channel will be deleted.
Entries will be judged by a panel organized by the CBCVB. Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity and effectiveness in capturing the subject matter; fall in Pottawattamie County. All decisions are final. The panel reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.
By entering the Contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by the Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau for advertising purposes without compensation. Photographers will be credited where possible. The winner may be contacted and asked to provide a high-resolution, full-sized file to the Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
The prize must be collected by the winner and is non-transferable.
The winner will be contacted via the social media account or email address provided during entry. If no response is received after five business days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
By participating in the contest, you agree to release and hold harmless the Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau and its employees, volunteers, affiliates, and agents, from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your participation in this contest, including infringement of intellectual property rights.
