As part of the larger Celebrate CB celebration (May 4–11), the parade brings the community together with colorful floats, marching groups, performers, and hometown pride on full display. After the parade wraps up Saturday morning, keep the celebration rolling by heading straight to Railroad Days for a full day of fun around town. 4. Experience The Wall That Heals

This Memorial Day weekend, Council Bluffs will host The Wall That Heals, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, this powerful exhibit honors the more than 3 million Americans who served during the Vietnam War. Visitors can walk the 375-foot Wall bearing the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, create meaningful name rubbings, and explore a mobile Education Center featuring digital exhibits, artifacts, timelines, and local “Hometown Heroes” stories!
A special motorcycle motorcade escort will accompany the exhibit into the community on May 20, creating a moving tribute before the memorial opens to the public.
