The inaugural Mid-America Gamers Expo is taking place in Council Bluffs this November!

The MAGE: Mid America Gamers Expo will be held at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs from November 19 – 21, 2021.

The metro area’s first major gaming event will transform the MAC into a gamers’ paradise with player-ready lighting, energizing music, and multiple food vendors. LAN (local area network) party participants from hobbyists to competitive gamers are invited to bring their computers or consoles to participate in a variety of multiplayer games. This all-ages event welcomes gamers and non-gamers alike.

Powered by the Iowa West Foundation, this multi-tiered, three-day esports festival will feature three main components:

In addition to the Iowa West Foundation, MAGE ’21 is partnering with former Nebraska Cornhusker and NFL player and current Lakeland University Esports coach Ahman Green, and local LAN Party-pros NETWAR to produce this event. Additional promotional partners include Iowa Western Community College, radio station 89.7 The River, the Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Official Social Media Partner Hurrdat.

Tickets and entries for the Tournament and LAN Party will be available beginning in July and will include a variety of options including single-day and weekend passes, LAN Party admission, and Tournament entry for two different games.
