On February 14, 2026, Cupid’s Chase 5K comes to Council Bluffs, inviting runners, walkers, families, and supporters to come together for a heart‑warming race that makes a real impact. A National Race with a Powerful Mission
Cupid’s Chase 5K is part of a national race series celebrating the founding of Community Options, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting people with disabilities. Each February, thousands of participants across the country lace up their shoes to raise funds for housing and employment opportunities. Last year alone, more than 11,000 runners nationwide joined the cause—creating incredible momentum and meaningful change. In 2026, Council Bluffs is proud to be part of this movement.
Check-in begins at 9 AM for this event, with the race starting at 10 AM. This 5K features professional timing, with results posted following the race, and will be held rain or shine. The event is open to runners and walkers of all abilities, including participants with baby strollers or wheelchairs, and leashed pets are welcome. Registration is $45, with prices increasing after February 13. To guarantee an official Cupid’s Chase shirt, participants should register by January 1, 2026.
Every participant has something to celebrate at the finish line. While supplies last, racers will receive a Cupid’s Chase finisher medal and a drawstring bag. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as overall male and female winners in 14 age groups ranging from 12 and under to 70 and over.
