It’s a chance to cheer on the Storm Chasers while highlighting the communities that make western Iowa home. With activities for the kids and plenty of baseball action, this is one Sunday afternoon worth putting on the calendar.

The Omaha Storm Chasers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, bring a full afternoon of baseball and entertainment to Werner Park. Settle into the stands, grab some classic ballpark food, and cheer on the home team with family and friends.
Family Funday
There’s plenty happening beyond the game, too. Family Funday, presented by CHI Health, brings extra fun to the ballpark with activities such as wildlife encounters, face painters, balloon artists, or another family-friendly activity.
It’s a great way to keep the little ones entertained between innings and make the afternoon more than just a baseball game.
Kids Run the Bases
After the final out, kids can take their turn on the field during Kids Run the Bases, presented by the YMCA of Greater Omaha.
Kids 12 and under can run the bases after the game. Participants must be able to run independently and may not be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
