Dodge Riverside Golf Club

An 18-hole championship course with year-round access and programs for both new and experienced golfers, it's no wonder Dodge Riverside Golf Club was named to Golf Digest's list of best places to play. One of the oldest clubs in the metro area, this well-run and well-cared-for city green offers stunning tree-lined fairways and vistas of the Missouri River. Fox Run Golf Course and Clubhouse

Self-proclaimed as the premier semi-private golf facility in Council Bluffs, Fox Run provides a unique golfing experience at an affordable price. Formerly known as Scottish Links, the club offers golfers the best of both worlds: links golf in a parkland setting. Escape to the countryside and visit the courses in Pottawattamie County! Located just minutes away from the metro you can experience small-town charm and beautiful scenery while avoiding the crowds. 

  • Avoca CountryView Golf and Grille (40 minutes from Council Bluffs)
    This public golf course has nine holes and par 36. The course has watered fairways and is lined with large trees. Golfers are challenged by five sand traps that guard a fairway and four greens, and two ponds on fairway #4 and #6.
  • Oakland Riverside Golf Course (35 minutes from Council Bluffs)
    This publicly-owned, municipal golf course has nine holes that serve all of Southwest Iowa. They host weekly events like Ladies Night or Couples Night and have a great clubhouse for a delicious meal. 
  • Quail Run Country Club in Neola (30 minutes from Council Bluffs)
    This semi-private course is a nine-hole links-style course with rolling greens and undulating fairways. From the hilltop clubhouse, you can see every hole on the course. The course features 3,277 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36.
  • Shoreline Golf Course  (15 minutes from Council Bluffs)
    Shoreline's 18 hole, par 72 Championship Golf Course is a scenic lakeside golf course bordering the shores of Carter Lake.
