Volunteers Needed for the 2021 U.S. Olympic Swimming Team Trials

The U.S. Olympic Swimming Team Trials, the largest swim meet in the world, is returning to the CHI Health Center in Omaha on June 4 -7 and June 13 -20, 2021! This high-level competitive event will determine which athletes will become part of Team USA for the 2020-21 Tokyo Olympics.

The Omaha Sports Commission and USA Swimming are currently looking for volunteers to help with Swimming Wave I & II. Wave I will take place June 4-7, and Wave II will take place on June 13-20. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers will help guarantee this event's success and welcome thousands of athletes, coaches, and fans to Omaha, Council Bluffs, and the entire metro area. Many of whom will be staying at hotels right here in CB.

If you are interested, it is recommended that you register early to choose assignments in an area you are interested in and during the times you are available. Please note that these options are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and you must be 21 years or older to volunteer.

Benefits of being a volunteer:

  • Meals (if your shift is during a mealtime)
  • Free parking
  • You get to watch the trials (on tv in your area if you cannot see the pool deck from your location)
  • Free apparel

Those who are interested in volunteering or have any questions should reach out to [email protected]. Click here to view the step-by-step instructions on how to register as a volunteer.
