2026 Fall Tea - History, Humans and Horses

The Generals Ladies of the Historic General Dodge House are excited to present to you the annual Fall Tea. Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea, and an incredible presentation by Kori Nelson.
For centuries humans have relied on horses for exploration, war, farming and the sheer enjoyment of riding. The last several decades have shown us a softer, more emotional side to horses and the wonderful qualities they bring for our physical, emotional and cognitive well-being.
Come learn about all the ways horses have helped humans.
Doors open at 1:45. This event is on the 3rd floor of the Historic General Dodge House. There is not an elevator.
