Downtown Avoca invites you to join in the fun at HOLIDAYS ON MAIN! This year’s event offers a Gingerbread contest, full petting zoo, ponies to ride, stick reindeer races, fabulous food, and more! The activities begin with a Vendor/Craft Fair, and continues with the very popular Ugly Christmas Sweater 3K Race There’s no entry fee; just bring an item or two for the local food pantry. Santa will be on hand to visit with the children, children's barrel train rides. Go on a trolly/hayrack ride to see an inflatable wonderland, then on the crafts with girl scouts, and hot chocolate sold by cub scouts. There will be carnival games/cookie walk, a movie and inflatable football throw throughout the afternoon. Main Street stores will be open. End the day dining with Pancake Man and then off to Bethlehem Walk/Live Nativity and finish off with Tree Lighting.
