Council Bluffs Kennel Club is a 501c3 organization that was established in 1962 for the betterment of our canine friends through public education, community activities, and various canine-related events involving all-breed conformation and other community-related activities. The Council Bluffs Kennel Club puts on the show every year for American Kennel Club (AKC) registered dogs. The dogs entered in the competition—of a large variety of breeds—are judged based on AKC standards for their breed such as head shape and gait.
