Join us as we look back at the renaissance, the revival of art and literature under the influence of classical models in the 14th–16th centuries. and what makes them occur. Richard serves as president of Preserve Council Bluffs, an officer of the Historical Society of Pottawattamie County, and vice-president of the Pottawattamie County Genealogical Society. He has edited the Historical Society’s member publication for over thirty-five years, co-authored four books about local history, and written over a hundred articles on the subject. Dr. Warner hosts the podcast “Accidentally Historic,” which produces the local history YouTube channel "Council Bluffs Revealed," and is an Iowa Governor’s Volunteer Award recipient. He is a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Creighton University (BS, DDS), and UNO (MA).
