Hitchcock Nature Center

Support land stewardship by collecting local ecotype native prairie seed for ecological restoration efforts in western Iowa's Loess Hills. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. This event includes walking over steep, rugged terrain, so dress appropriately. Email lance@goldenhillsrcd.org with questions. Meet at the Loess Hills Lodge at Hitchcock Nature Center. Full details and directions are available at goldenhillsrcd.org/prairieseed. The event may be rescheduled if inclement weather. Check back on the day of the event.

Project funding was provided by Specialty Crop Block Grant, Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation, and Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration.
