Rock the Block

The 712 Initiative and Habitat for Humanity of Council Bluffs have teamed up to bring Rock the Block to our community. Rock the Block is a neighborhood revitalization program that focuses on helping residents with repair and beautification projects to build pride and connect neighborhoods. Rock the Block will take place on Saturday, September 17th and we are looking for volunteers to assist with these projects.
Examples of volunteer tasks include home repair (minor gutter repairs, porch repairs), weatherization (weather stripping, caulking), and home preservation (painting, landscaping). We are looking for individuals and groups ages 14+ to fill volunteer shifts from 9 am-12 pm and 1 pm-4 pm. Lunch and a volunteer shirt will be provided.
