History of the Modern Calendar

August 3 | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Council Bluffs Public Library

Have you ever wondered how our calendars came to be or where the names of our days and months originated?

The tool we all depend on has a complex history. Join Troy and Ardennes Stolp of the Historical Society of Pottawattamie County for an exploration of how our modern calendar developed. Drawing on historical research that traces back to Roman times, this program will dive into the fascinating and intricate history of the days and months we use today.

This program is free and open to the public. Thank you to the Historical Society of Pottawattamie County for this collaboration.
