How to Sew: a Drawstring Backpack

The Makerspace has sewing machines ready for you! Learn to use a machine and complete a small project with all materials provided (colors may vary). You’ll gain hands-on experience with basic sewing and pressing techniques.
Space is limited, so sign up in advance! This program is for ages 14 and up. Upon completion, you’ll be certified to check out the Janome Jem Gold Sewing Machine from the Makerspace. A special thanks to the Council Bluffs Public Library Foundation for supporting this program.
