Celebrate the beauty of Iowa and Grant Wood’s Legacy through the rich tradition of oil painting. In this intermediate level class, instructor Andrew Peters will guide students through techniques for creating depth, texture, and vibrant color while painting a seasonal subject inspired by Iowa's landscape, featuring either towering corn stalks or heirloom pumpkins. Designed for artists with some prior painting experience, this class focuses on refining brushwork, composition, color mixing, and layering to create a finished piece full of warmth and character.
