Overview
Three 12-foot-tall photo murals celebrate the history of Council Bluffs, depicting a city scene from around 1910, Washington School, and the former Council Bluffs Fire Department Central Station.
The murals were installed by the Historic Lincoln-Fairview Neighborhood Association in August 2020 and were part of a three-pronged use of a walkability grant the association received from The 712 Initiative and its Neighborhood Network Initiative, funded by the Iowa West Foundation.
Council Bluffs is home to several murals that tell the history of our area and bring vibrancy to our community! Discover the creativity!
