Historic Lincoln-Fairview Neighborhood Murals

Overview

Three 12-foot tall photo murals line the walls of the CenturyLink building depicting a scene from Council Bluffs around 1910, the Washington School, and the former Council Bluffs Fire Department Central Station.

The murals were installed by the Historic Lincoln-Fairview Neighborhood Association in August 2020 and were part of a three-pronged use of walkability grant the association received from The 712 Initiative and its Neighborhood Network Initiative through funding by the Iowa West Foundation. 

The Pottawattamie County Genealogical Society building mural is another historic mural in town worth checking out!
