Walk amongst orchards, enjoy a glass of wine, snack on apple cider doughnuts, and watch the kids play in bumper balls or at the playground at Ditmars Orchard.
What started as a family project in 1994 is now one of the largest orchards in Iowa. The property features apples, pumpkins, strawberries, apricots, peaches, and cherries. They also carry a wide selection of native Iowa wines that can be purchased by the bottle or by the glass with events throughout the growing season. A cafe is onsite with items like pulled pork sandwiches, nacho taters, and pizza.
Admission: $7 per person for unlimited access to the corn maze, a petting zoo with goats, jumbo family games, cornhole toss, and lifesize hamster wheels. Extra activities on weekends are also included in this fee, including bounce houses, tractor rides, barrel cart rides, and zorb bounder balls.
