The City of Council Bluffs proudly presents the 2023 Parks and Recreation Summer Fun Guide! This colorful catalog details all the Parks and Recreation summer programs, projects, and services. With vibrant colors and lively images of past events, the City’s Summer Fun Guide has us longing for a warm breeze and a frozen treat.
The Summer Fun Guide is being mailed to all City of Council Bluffs residents, additional copies will be available at the Council Bluffs CVB Welcome Center, and a digital version is available at cbparksandrec.org.
"I think this is the perfect time to be living in Council Bluffs," said Mayor Matt Walsh. "We have a wide variety of activities and events that make us unlike anywhere else. On purpose! The guide outlines a few. Have a safe, healthy, and enjoyable summer!"
In addition to the list of parks and recreation events, the guide also provides the Council Bluffs Fire Department’s hydrant party schedule and a list of places to picnic, splash, swim, and hike!
