Locals and visitors can dive into a month full of unforgettable events and summer vibes. These five can't-miss experiences are set to make June one of the most exciting times of the year.

Experience the bounty of local produce and handmade goods at the farmers markets in Council Bluffs. These markets are perfect for picking up fresh fruits, vegetables, artisanal products, and unique crafts. Farmers Market Council Bluffs is held every Thursday, offering a great way to support local farmers and vendors while enjoying a lively community atmosphere. Take in live music, kids' activities, and more. Or stop at the River City Farmers Market on Saturdays for fresh-picked vegetables, flowers, baked goods, and eggs, among other fantastic choices. 

Want to venture outside Council Bluffs? Pottawattamie County has several nearby farmers markets worth exploring throughout the week. Start with the Underwood's Monday Market, then visit the Treynor Farmers Market each Tuesday. On Wednesdays, head to the Avoca Main Street Farmers Market, followed by the Macedonia Market on Thursdays. The Crescent Farmers Market takes place every other Saturday, offering even more local goods to enjoy.

2. Immerse Yourself in Rides and Good Vibes

Bikes on the 100 Block kicks off the summer with roaring engines and downtown vibes on Thursday, June 19th. Motorcycles fill the streets of the Historic 100 Block, while live music echoes through the air, and the community gathers for great food, cold drinks, and that unmistakable bike-night energy. It’s a tradition built on the love of the ride and a shared sense of camaraderie.

This month, Bikes on the 100 Block gets even bigger with Meetin In The Middle, a three-day motorcycle event running June 19–21. The two events overlap, bringing even more bikes, energy, and riders to the scene. Then, on Saturday, June 21st, Meetin' In The Middle's Main Event travels to Edwards Motorsports. The can't miss event features a vintage bike show, awards, giveaways, food, and an optional group ride!

The Stir Concert Cove Series brings open-air energy and unforgettable performances to the city. On Thursday, June 12, the College World Series Opening Celebration occurs across the bridge at The RiverFront in Omaha, marking the 75th anniversary of Omaha hosting the series.
