Join the 712 Initiative and TS Bank for the annual Shamrock Shuffle on Saturday, March 14, 2020. In its seventh year, the unique Saint Patrick’s Day themed run is now officially a USATF certified 5k route.

“Becoming a certified 5K and being professionally timed gives the avid runner a competitive outlet without taking anything away from the fun everyone expects to have at the Shamrock Shuffle,” said Jeff Snow, the Director of Programming and Events at the 712 Initiative.

Participants are encouraged to go all out on their Saint Patrick's day attire, dress as green as you dare! Your goal is to beat the leprechaun to the finish line to win a free beverage.

The run will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be followed by a street party on the Historic 100 Block in Council Bluffs. The Polka Police, a well-known local band, will be performing live music after the run. There will also be a themed photo booth, face painting, an outdoor beer garden, and food and drink specials from the participating locations on the 100 Block.

The registration fee is $31.50 for adults, $21.50 for participants 11-18 years old and $5 for those who are 10 and under. If you register before March 4th, participants 11 years or older will receive a t-shirt with their registration!
