100 Block Passageway Mural

Overview

Created by Council Bluffs native and local artist Tyler Kissel, the 100 Block Passageway Mural brings color and creativity to one of downtown's most traveled walkways. The artwork features the word "enjoy" filled with a serene sunset scene, creating a welcoming backdrop for visitors exploring the Historic 100 Block of West Broadway and its collection of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

The mural was commissioned through an AARP Iowa Community Grant awarded to The 712 Initiative, which helped transform the passageway into a vibrant public art destination celebrating local talent and community pride.
