The Charles E. Lakin Foundation Pier offers one of the best views of the Omaha skyline in the metro area from a striking setting along the Council Bluffs riverfront. Located just south of Tom Hanafan River’s Edge Park and connected to the Iowa Riverfront Trail, the Charles E. Lakin Foundation Pier is an easy addition to a walk or bike ride along the riverfront. Its location between the park and Harrah's Casino and Hotel also makes it a natural stop before or after a concert at Stir Cove. Its combination of architecture, landscaping, comfortable gathering spaces, and incredible views has creates a new place to relax, take photos, and experience the Missouri River from the Iowa side.
