Overview

The Council Bluffs Recreation Complex is one of the Midwest's premier sports tournament destinations, offering versatile facilities for youth, amateur, and competitive sporting events. Conveniently located near the I-80/I-29 interchange, the complex provides easy access for teams, spectators, and event organizers traveling from across the region.

The facility features four softball fields, four baseball fields, two youth fast-pitch fields, and 10 full-size soccer fields with goals for ages 6U through 13U. An additional four full-size soccer fields are available upon request. The complex also includes four full-size football fields with goal posts and electronic scoreboards, allowing multiple tournaments and sporting events to be hosted simultaneously.

The complex regularly hosts regional soccer, baseball, and softball tournaments, including events that draw teams from across the Midwest. Recent competitions have included the Halloween Havoc Soccer Tournament and the Slumpbuster Baseball Tournament, held during the Men's College World Series in nearby Omaha.

Designed with both athletes and spectators in mind, the complex offers two full-service concession areas with outdoor seating, a tournament conference room, a large playground, and direct access to the community trail system.
