2. You’ll receive a text message from Methodist confirming the appointment and providing a link to complete forms. You will also be asked to upload a copy of your insurance card, which will help make the appointment more efficient.
3. Please bring your ID to the designated clinic location at your scheduled appointment time. The flu shot will be administered while you remain in your vehicle. The process is quick and easy – you’ll be done in a matter of minutes.
4. The clinic will bill the patient’s insurance, and self-pay patients will be billed by mail. No payment will be accepted at the clinic.

Join Fr. Max Carson and Fr. Jake Epstein for a city-wide walking pilgrimage from St. Patrick Catholic Church to Corpus Christi Parish. We will gather in the St. Patrick parking lot at 8:00 AM for prayer before beginning a 2.5-hour walk together as a faith community. Prayer resources will be available to use on the journey. This year's annual All Hallows Eve Festival at Botna Bend promises fun for the entire family including hayrack rides, cookie decorating, hot dogs, and trick or treating! The public is invited to participate in fun fall activities hosted by Botna Bend Park staff and campers.
A $3 per vehicle entry fee or Pottawattamie Conservation membership is required to enter the park if you are not camping. Free will donations will be gratefully accepted and used to fund additional free and low-cost public programming at your county parks.

Hitchcock Hike for Health Club is designed for visitors ages 16+.
Grab your partner or a group of friends and join us first for some light stretching and education on equipment and preparation in the Loess Hills Lodge Goldfinch Room, then hit the hilly Loess Hills trails for a guided fitness hike. If you are looking to get in tune with your body, work up a sweat, and engage with the outdoors, then this is the club for you (especially if you have a big hike or camping trip coming up!).
Please dress for the weather (layers are highly recommended) and wear appropriate hiking shoes or boots. Make sure to bring a reusable water container. Walking poles are highly recommended if you prefer them. Hike may go longer than time posted.

Spooky season is coming fast, and our Flashlight tours are soon! The Flashlight tours are a great event that the Historical Society of Pottawattamie County puts on to bring new people into our history and have some fun. This includes a walk through the jail to learn about our history, with the occasional scare waiting around the corner.
This year, the tours will be held on October 17, 18, 24, and costs $15 for the public and only $10 for members. No reservations are required. Come learn about the old county jail that has been the site of hundreds of paranormal investigations and see what ghosts you can find!

Each Meander & Gander program will take place outdoors, be seasonally focused, and include a moderate hike, guided meditation, breathwork, and time for reflection. No prior experience necessary.
Suggested to bring: notebook or journal, water, something to sit or lie upon (towel or small blanket), and weather-appropriate attire.
Flu shots are available to anyone 6 months and older, including high-dose shots for those 65 and older. Here’s how it works:
1. Call (402) 354-CARE to schedule an appointment at any of the drive-thru locations. Appointments are recommended.
2. You’ll receive a text message from Methodist confirming the appointment and providing a link to complete forms. You will also be asked to upload a copy of your insurance card, which will help make the appointment more efficient.
3. Please bring your ID to the designated clinic location at your scheduled appointment time. The flu shot will be administered while you remain in your vehicle. The process is quick and easy – you’ll be done in a matter of minutes.
4. The clinic will bill the patient’s insurance, and self-pay patients will be billed by mail. No payment will be accepted at the clinic.

Hitchcock Hike for Health Club is designed for visitors ages 16+.
Grab your partner or a group of friends for some light stretching and education on equipment and preparation in the Loess Hills Lodge Goldfinch Room, then hit the hilly Loess Hills trails for a guided fitness hike. If you are looking to get in tune with your body, work up a sweat, and engage with the outdoors, then this is perfect for you (especially if you have a big hike or camping trip coming up!).
Please dress for the weather (layers are highly recommended) and wear appropriate hiking shoes or boots. Make sure to bring a reusable water container. Walking poles are highly recommended if you prefer them. Hike may go longer than time posted.

An audience favorite returns to the Arts Center this year. The Petersens are an award-winning Americana/Roots family band known for taking the music of the Ozarks to the world and bringing the world to come visit them in the Ozarks. They have toured throughout Ireland, Finland, Canada, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, and the United States, entertaining audiences with their tight harmonies, instrumental virtuosity, and warm sibling humor. The Petersens went viral online in 2019 when their YouTube videos gained international attention and have now reached nearly 250 million views. The band consists of four siblings - Katie, Ellen, Matt, and Julianne – their mom Karen, and honorary Petersen and dear friend Emmett Franz. The Petersens perform full-time in Branson, Missouri at the Little Opry Theater in Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex.

Spooky season is coming fast, and the Flashlight tours are here! The Flashlight tours are a great event that the Historical Society of Pottawattamie County puts on to bring new people into our history and have some fun. This includes a walk through the jail to learn about the history, with the occasional scare waiting around the corner.
This year, the tours cost $15 for the public and only $10 for members. No reservations are required. Come learn about the old county jail that has been the site of hundreds of paranormal investigations and see what ghosts you can find!

You'll see the changing forest in a whole new light after this Halloween hike! Take part and examine how folklore can deepen your relationship with the forest and prairie. Learn about the plant, animal, and mineral communities of the Loess Hills and their significance in the seasonal folklore associated with Halloween. Surviving Divorce features twelve video presentations that cover topics such as shock and grief, anger and forgiveness, money issues, dealing with children and a former spouse, and annulment and remarriage. This program is for the newly separated and divorced and those still struggling with issues many years later. It will help them find answers to their questions, restore their hope, and begin authentic healing.

The Makerspace has sewing machines ready for you! Learn to use a machine and complete a small project with all materials provided (colors may vary). You’ll gain hands-on experience with basic sewing and pressing techniques.

Hitchcock Hike for Health Club is designed for visitors ages 16+.
Grab your partner or a group of friends and join in for some light stretching and education on equipment and preparation in the Loess Hills Lodge Goldfinch Room, then hit the hilly Loess Hills trails for a guided fitness hike. If you are looking to get in tune with your body, work up a sweat, and engage with the outdoors, then this is the club for you (especially if you have a big hike or camping trip coming up!).
Please dress for the weather (layers are highly recommended) and wear appropriate hiking shoes or boots. Make sure to bring a reusable water container. Walking poles are highly recommended if you prefer them. Hike may go longer than time posted.

"Story Weaver" is for people who want to tell and/or listen to stories told in and about the natural world. It is also for musicians, poets, and thinkers. Participants are welcome to tell or read stories, share a poem, or perform a song related to the natural world. Attendance is welcome whether you wish to partake or just listen.
Stories or songs may be true, fictional, or mythic. They may be inspired by history, fairytale/legend/folklore, personal experience, observation, or even family. They may be sad, dramatic, funny, wise, or exciting. We ask that your contribution is in some way related to nature, the wild, or ecology, such as plants, animals, rivers, stones, etc.

Join the October Autism Support Group meeting for an evening of connection, encouragement, and community! The group meets in the commons area at TJ High School—parking is available off 2nd Avenue in the back lot, with entry through the main building doors. Parents, caregivers, children, and adults on the spectrum are all welcome to attend (please note, child care is not provided). This gathering is a wonderful opportunity to share ideas, discuss what would be most helpful within the community, and help shape future events and support initiatives.
