Overview
The Iowa West Public Art Sites collection transforms Council Bluffs into an outdoor gallery featuring large-scale sculptures, cultural landmarks, and award-winning public art installations. Located throughout the community and accessible year-round, these works of art celebrate creativity, storytelling, and the unique character of Council Bluffs.
The collection includes 12 signature installations: Bayliss Park Wellspring & Oculus, Big Mo, Circus, Gateway, Haymarket Rabbits, Interstate, Molecule Man, Odyssey, Riverboat on the Missouri, Rhythm, and Sunrise. Together, these pieces create a self-guided public art experience that encourages visitors to explore different neighborhoods, parks, and gathering spaces throughout the city.
Visitors can learn more about the collection, discover recommended touring routes, and access maps and directions through the Otocast App or the Iowa West Public Art Sites guide. The Iowa West Public Art Sites are part of a broader public art experience in Council Bluffs that includes murals, mosaics, and other installations found throughout the community.
